Pole Vault Camp Staff
Jerry Sessions, Director
Jerry has been a student of the vault since he was 10 years old. He has coached numerous league, regional, and state champions in high school. He has coached an All American, and National Champ, at the collegiate level. Jerry has been the Midwest Meet of Champions Pole Vault Coach for the state of Michigan for 9 years. He currently coaches athletes of all ages.
Miranda Farr, Assistant Coach
Miranda holds her high school pole vault record, and finished second at the 2002 State Meet. In her 2 years at the collegiate level she earned three All American awards, won the 2004 National Junior College Athletic Association Indoor National Championship, and was Outdoor Runner-up. She holds the Lansing Community College Pole Vault record and won the LCC Scholar Athlete Award. Miranda competed at Grand Valley State University and was All American. Miranda’s best vault is currently13’0”. At this time, she is jumping in elite and open competitions. Miranda is the Pole Vault Coach for Charlotte High School, and the assistant coach for Landon Athletics.
